With the release of their new issue that has everybody talking Urban
Timez Magazine aka The Urban Empire prepares to take it to yet another level. Urban Timez Magazine brings to you "An A&R's Dream" the new quartly mixtape series that features the top 25 hottest unsigned/indie artist in the game. Hand picked by Jay Classik(Ceo of Urban Timez and Hustle Fam Marketing Firm), Chuck T(Co owner of Urban Timez and Top 5 mixtape DJ), and J Fresh(Manager and VP at Hustle Fam Marketing Firm).
The series was to put together to not only be an a&r's guide for talent but to give the streets a look at who's the hottest artist in the streets. Urban Timez's Ceo Jay Classik gives us a brief assement on the series, "Well I think its very important we continue to show all the faces of Urban Timez Magazine. Right now its very cliche to have a urban publication since the big dogs XXL and The Source made it popular. We over at The Urban Empire always pushed the fact that Urban Timez is more than just a magazine but a movement something we live everyday. The Urban Timez staff and upper executive level is made up of more than just journalist and photographers, we have power players in music amongst our staff.
So this series is here to not only set us apart from the other indie publications, but to be that connection between the streets and the industry. Chuck T has a huge mixtape he's about to drop that show's why he's top 5 mixtape dj in the south, we got the new issue in the streets kill'em, so its a perfect time to release this series. You can expect this series to jump off in April as we prepare the release of our May/June issue so look out for it its gonna be Classik."
