That Trybesmen joint is tight man. But there aint no need to differentiate b/w African Hip-Hop and Hip-Hop bcoz there is no Hip-Hop without Africa, there is no African-American without Africans, ya feel me? It is what it is.

Hip-Hop was given birth in Africa and just came of age in America, sort of like your mom sending you overseas or into the army to grow into a man. But home is where the heart is and when Hip-Hop finally goes home, damn, it's gonna be unstoppable! It's gonna be a trillion dollar empire or more!

I find that most African Hip-Hop has over the top American accents. When it doesn't (like some South African and Zimbabwean shit) I can listen. I just know too many Africans who talk like they're American which pisses me off. So you can hear it being forced on the rap records.

^^^I feel you on that but a lot of English cats be doing the same thing too. Only English cat I'm feeling at the moment is Kano. It's not about the accent you choose to rap in though (music is just an expression of self), it's about how natural and real you sound.

I think you should listen to this (all the words):

Yankeetitus in the U.K is so minor these days. like 5 years ago it was bad. But these days people know. It still happens but they never make moves.

I know some of the sickest niggaz in Angola......but yall wouldnt feel it cuz its in Portuguese...

But yea the rappers that rap in English try to copy American accents...well I mean they tryin to copy the flow essentoally but the accent's part of it too...

But thats the problem, niggaz dont know how to differentiate b/w being influenced by an artist and copying an artist....they even copy beats over there...

the commercial shit is mostly wack, only a couple niggaz can balance shit....but theres mad talent in the underground that not even niggaz living in Africa know about!!

But Hip Hop is still forcing its way in Africa....its still not accepted in a lot of ways, so yall gotta consider that...
