Today’s hip-hop sound might be forgetting its lyrical founding in favor of melodics and sound, but that doesn’t mean every burgeoning artist is adhering to this mentality. Some still intrepidly remain loyal to hip-hop’s origins, placing a premium on lyricism. Two of those individuals are none other than the later Big Pun’s son, Chris Rivers, and fellow rising New York MC, Oswin Benjamin. Recently, the two linked on the former’s new single, “N.A.S.A.”
