Common Delivers The Official “Hercules” Video

Featuring a cameo from the one and only Vince Staples.

Last week, Common linked with Swizz Beatz to deliver a new single, “Hercules.” Recently, the duo teamed up again for the track’s official video.

Taking place in a convenient store, and shot largely from a security camera perspective, the “Hercules” video shows Common rapping into his phone as he peruses the aisles alongside a fellow female shopper. But the casual shopping experience turns negative when robbers appear, holding the cashier (played by Vince Staples) at gunpoint.

Embodying the song’s title, Common ties up his superhero cape to disarm the perpetrators, getting help from Vince and the aforementioned shopper, too.
