Fat Joe suppling that heat!

Earlier this week, Fat Joe teased an upcoming track through his social media, guaranteeing that it would be fire. Today, he makes good on that announcement by linking with Lil Wayne and Dre, of Cool & Dre, for “Pullin.”

The instrumental behaves in a bi-polar manner, as it jarringly and continuously switches between smooth, laidback Marvin Gaye samples and ominous, hard-hitting drums. This production dynamism provides a captivating ying-yang energy: the Marvin Gaye samples act as a necessary respite from the all-consuming energetic portion, but just when the chilled-out vibe becomes too complacent, the booming sonics hijack the beat.

“Pullin” recruits some excellent verses from the featured artists, and begs for future collabs from this trio.
