Blu & Exile Return On ‘True & Livin”

They explosive duo is back.

Blu & Exile struck gold with their lauded 2007 project, Below The Heavens. Revered for originality and conceptual lucidity, this collaborative endeavor has grown into a cult favorite whose timelessness reflects its musical innovation. Now, the duo looks to continue that momentum with their new EP, True & Livin’.

Coming in at a succinct eight-tracks, the project is largely a chance for the two to explore a house of sounds by themselves, save for the album’s one “posse” cut, “Power To The People” featuring Aloe Blacc, Fashawn, Johaz, Blame One, Choosey, and Cashus King.

Reintroducing the industry to the powers of conscious rap, True & Livin’ is another sound addition to Blu & Exile’s storied library.
