Ventura drops next Friday, April 12th.

Anderson .Paak’s forthcoming Ventura album is scheduled for an April 12th release, just six-months after he dropped his third studio project, Oxnard. He provided the first taste with his March 15th-released “King James” and .Paak has followed this up with “Make It Better” — featuring the Smokey Robinson.

“Make It Better” is rooted in musical lore. Not only did Anderson secure an exclusive feature from one of the most decorated musicians in Smokey, but he also received production from The Alchemist. As a genuine student and patron of the game, and an incredibly talented individual to boot, it’s no surprise that if anyone could congregate this cast of musicians, it would be .Paak.

On-brand for the Malibu hyphenate, “Make It Better” is a smooth, soulful offering that transplants the listener from whatever humdrum environment they’re in to an idyllic setting, replete with bucolic scenery and vibes.

With just one-week remaining until Ventura’s release, acquaint yourself with Anderson .Paak’s laidback stylings by hitting play on “Make It Better” below:
