Nas, Lil Wayne to Headline 2019 Governors Ball

Coming to New York this summer.

Every year, the music industry’s finest comes from near and far to New York’s Governors Ball, located at Randall’s Island Park, to celebrate musical excellence. Started in 2011, Gov Ball consistently recruits a diverse artist set list, ranging from hip-hop to rock, from EDM to folk. No matter the genre, one absolute is elucidated each year: Gov Ball has a penchant for hand-picking incredible talents.

Today, January 7th, Founders Entertainment–Gov Ball’s parent organization, which operates under Live Nation–has released this year’s lineup, which will take place Friday, May 31st to Sunday, June 2nd.

Headlining this year’s show will be Tyler, The Creator, Lil Wayne, Nas, SZA, and plenty more. Over the three-day festival, over 40 artists–including top-tier acts like Ty Dolla $ign, Sheck Wes, Kaytranada, Major Lazer, among others–will enrich Gov Ball’s long-standing tradition of purveying memorable live performances.
