Congrats, Cole.

An incredible achievement, J. Cole has done it yet again: KOD has gone platinum without any features–again.

Released April 20th, KOD joins Cole’s last two albums’, 4 Your Eyez Only and 2014 Forest Hills Drive, platinum status, with the latter going double platinum. Supported by singles “ATM” and the eponymous “KOD”, both which debuted in the Billboard top-10, KOD explores a variety of topics revolving around the his perspective on the culture–from the glorification of drugs to dealing with his advice to hip-hop’s youth.

Aside from not featuring any vocalists, Cole also produced KOD almost entirely by himself, save for the hit track, “Kevin’s Heart”. He was joined by producers T-Minus, Mark Pelli, BLVK and Ron Gilmore.

A huge congratulations goes out to J. Cole.
