Diplomatic Ties drops on November 22nd.

Genuine hip-hop fans, rejoice: The Diplomats are returning soon with their first album, Diplomatic Ties, since 2004’s Diplomatic Immunity 2. It’s certainly a celebratory occasion for their loyal following, but even more momentous for the Harlem-based group, composed of Cam’ron, Jim Jones, Freekey Zekey, and Juelz Santana.

But with so much time passing, it’s reasonable to be skeptical about this release, and whether or not it will restore or tarnish their former sheen. For fear of being let down, it’s understandable why someone would be cautiously optimistic–or even guarded–about this album. Good news, though: they’ve released the album’s lead single, “Sauce Boyz”, and it paints Dipset in the positive light that they, and we, are well-accustomed with.

Diplomatic Ties will drop on Thanksgiving, November 22nd.
