His response to Em’s “Not Alike”.

Eminem’s surprise Friday release, Kamikaze, has turned heads in the hip-hop community due to the vintage Slim tropes littered throughout the album: the unparalleled wordplay, varied flows, and calling out rappers–calling out almost every single rapper.

In addition to blanketly and independently roasting the new generation–like Lil Yachty and Lil Pump–Shady took aim at someone he’s exchanged words with in the past: Machine Gun Kelly. On the album’s eighth track, “Not Alike”, Em targets his lyrical flamethrower MGK’s way with the lyrics, “Oh, you run the streets, huh? / Now you wanna come and fuck with me, huh? / This little cock-sucker, he must be feelin’ himself / He wants to keep up his tough demeanor / So he does a feature, decides to team up with Nina / But next time you don’t gotta use Tech N9ne / If you wanna come at me with a sub, Machine Gun”.

MGK wasted little time, and has retaliated in scathing fashion on his new track, “Rap Devil”.
