Clipse Rumored to Reunite

“The Story of Adidon” part two?

The Pusha T and Drake beef has been consuming hip-hop’s spotlight since the release of the former’s “Infrared”. With a powerful response in Drake’s “Duppy Freestyle”, Push clapped back with a knockout diss on “The Story of Adidon”. And while it’s rumored that Drake is sitting on a “career-ending rebuttal”, the odds of it seeing the light are day are slim-to-none. While this lyrical sparring is entertaining by itself, it’s most importantly healthy for the sport of hip-hop, as it inspires artists to heighten their pen game. Potentially, this feud might have inspired Push’s brother and former Clipse member, No Malice, to come out of retirement to rejoin King Push on a new Clipse track.

Recently, production group J.U.S.T.I.C.E. LEAGUE tweeted, “New Clipse song, ready and loaded in the chamber.” The jury is out on whether or not No Malice dusts off his mic to return to hip-hop’s stage, but if anything could wake the sleeping giant, it would be to join his brother in lyrical warfare.

For now, we can keep listening to “Duppy Freestyle” and “The Story of Adidon” in hopes of this potential Clipse reunion.
