J. Cole Announces New Album

KOD drops this Friday.

One of the industry’s most dualistically talented players, J. Cole, elated the music world yesterday with his exciting forthcoming album announcement, KOD. Again, the kid from Fayetteville, NC will construct a featureless project.

Revealed in a series of social media posts, coupled with his lowkey Gramercy Theatre listening party Instagram declaration, Cole said that KOD will be out this Friday, 4/20. A multi-faceted album title, according to Cole, KOD stands for kidz on drugz, kill our demonz, king overdose. This album comes as a surprise to the entire community, but considering that Cole spent just two-weeks on the estimated 12-track project, it seems like it might have been an ostensible surprise to Jermaine as well.

Keep your eyes peeled for KOD dropping this Friday.
