Freestyle platforms are an apt environment for rappers to showcase their superior rhyming abilities. Acting as a gauntlet of sorts, they are able to filter wack artists from those who’ve mastered their pen game. Alongside Funk Flex’s freestyle stage, Sway’s “Five Fingers of Death” is one of the most respected, and challenging, platforms; only the strongest survive. Amongst those fierce lyricists is Connecticut’s ANoyd, who recently showed the rap world what he’s made of on “Sway in The Morning”.
