MF Doom and Westside Gunn Announce New Collaboration Album

doom x gunn

Well this should be good.

MF Doom has been controlling our attention recently with his Missing Notebook of Rhymes weekly releases. Every week, we’re hearing a new track with a distinct flavor. Other Hip Hop traditionalist, Westside Gunn, is also enjoying a great year, as he recently signed to Eminem’s Shady Records after admirably grinding for some time. Now, the two are about to converge powers on the recently announced joint project, WESTSIDEDOOM.

Produced entirely by Alchemist and Daringer, WESTSIDEDOOM should be a promising addition to Doom’s laundry list of collaboration albums; it should be a huge honor for Gunn. Announced via Westside’s IG, he described the forthcoming project as “one of the ills projects I’ve ever heard” and “this is it, the RAWEST, FLYEST, GRIMIEST shit you’ve heard IN YA LIFE.” Hopefully the product meets the expectations.

Take a look at Westside’s IG post below, and let’s get ready for what’s sure to be a great project:
